OstroVit Selenium provides 200 µg of selenium per tablet as L-selenomethionine, an organic form of selenium (selenium bound to the amino acid methionine). Selenium is a trace element found in Brazil nuts, fish, seafood, eggs and offal.
Selenium contributes to the normal function of the immune system, to normal thyroid function and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. It also contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and normal nails, and to normal spermatogenesis.
At 1 tablet a day, a tub of 220 tablets lasts more than seven months. Easy-to-swallow tablets for a simple, regular daily intake of selenium.
