Clear whey: protein you drink like a juice
Clear whey is a filtered, acidified whey isolate: mixed with water, it makes a clear, fruity drink with no milky texture. It is the ideal alternative if you dislike creamy shakes, train in summer or want a very light protein while cutting. Like all protein, it contributes to a growth in and the maintenance of muscle mass.
A serving usually provides 20 to 25 g of protein for under 100 kcal, with very little lactose, fat and sugar. Our range includes ESN Isoclear Whey Protein Isolate, Body Attack Clear Iso Whey, Inlead Clear Whey Isolate, BioTech USA Iso Whey Clear and Nanosupps Epic Juice. For a milk-free option, Nanosupps Protein Water Clear Beef is made from beef protein.
Tip: pour the powder into very cold water, shake, then let it rest for a minute so the foam settles. To compare with other types, read our whey guide or see all our whey isolates. We deliver all over Luxembourg, or ask our teams in Howald and Dudelange for advice.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between clear whey and regular whey?
Clear whey is a filtered, acidified whey isolate: you drink it like a fruit juice, whereas regular whey makes a milky, creamy shake. Both provide quality milk protein.
Does clear whey contain lactose?
Very little, as it is a highly filtered isolate. Exact amounts are shown on each product page; if you are severely intolerant, choose a plant or beef protein.
Why does clear whey foam?
It is normal for an isolate shaken in water. Let it rest for a minute after shaking and the foam settles by itself.
