PEAK Omega-3 Vegan (PEAK Life range) provides EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids sourced directly from the oil of the microalga Schizochytrium sp., the original source of the omega-3 later found in fish. A 100% plant-based alternative to fish oil, with no fishy aftertaste.
A daily serving of 3 capsules provides 825 mg of omega-3, including 450 mg of DHA and 225 mg of EPA. EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart (the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA). DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision (the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA).
A tub of 90 capsules lasts one month. A practical choice for athletes and anyone following a plant-based diet or eating little oily fish.
