Description
ESN Zinc (Elite Sports Nutrition) provides 25 mg of zinc per capsule as zinc bisglycinate, a chelated form of the mineral bound to the amino acid glycine. One capsule a day is all it takes, and a tub of 120 capsules lasts 4 months.
Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system, to the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood and to normal protein synthesis. It contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and normal bones, to normal acid-base metabolism and to normal macronutrient metabolism, as well as carbohydrate, fatty acid and vitamin A metabolism.
Athletes who train hard and people with a less varied diet can top up their intake of zinc, a trace element the body stores only in small amounts and needs on a regular basis. Vegetable capsules (HPMC), vegan, gluten free and lactose free.
