BioTechUSA One-A-Day Kids is a chewable multivitamin tablet with a strawberry-raspberry taste, designed to complement the diet of children from age 4. Just one small tablet a day provides 13 vitamins and 3 minerals (zinc, manganese, selenium), with no capsule or tablet to swallow.
Vitamin D is needed for normal growth and development of bone in children. Vitamins D and K, zinc and manganese contribute to the maintenance of normal bones, and vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of bones. Vitamin D also contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function.
Vitamins A, C, D, B6 and B12, folate, zinc and selenium contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin C, niacin, riboflavin, pantothenic acid, folate and vitamins B6 and B12 contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. The B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, biotin), vitamin C and manganese contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism, and zinc contributes to normal cognitive function.
Vitamins A and B2 and zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal vision. Vitamins C and E, riboflavin, zinc, manganese and selenium contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Folate is provided as calcium L-methylfolate. Low in sugar (no more than 5 g of sugars per 100 g), sweetened with sucralose. The 90-tablet tub lasts three months and also suits adults who prefer a chewable multivitamin.
