NOW Foods Liquid Vitamin D-3 Extra Strength provides 25 µg of vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol, from lanolin) in a single drop, i.e. 500% of the nutrient reference value. The liquid form is easy to dose and can be taken directly or mixed into a drink: a practical option for anyone who prefers not to swallow capsules.

Vitamin D contributes to normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus, to normal blood calcium levels, to the maintenance of normal bones, to the maintenance of normal muscle function, to the maintenance of normal teeth and to the normal function of the immune system.

As vitamin D is fat-soluble, it is dissolved in MCT oil (medium-chain triglycerides) and safflower oil. With about 750 drops, the 30 ml bottle lasts more than a year at one drop a day.
