The essentials in 30 seconds

  • Food first: a supplement tops up varied meals, it does not replace them.
  • Start with one product: the one that fills a real gap, most often protein if you train.
  • Proven products: protein, creatine, vitamin D, magnesium.
  • Vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free: we filter based on the manufacturers, but the label remains the reference if you have an allergy.

Where to start for your goal

This is the order our advisers follow in store. The Tonic Coach uses the same logic, then picks products based on your answers.

Ask your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication or ill. Pre-workouts often contain a lot of caffeine: not recommended for children or pregnant or breastfeeding women.

The questions we get in store

Where should a beginner start?

With your diet, then with a single product that fills a real gap: often protein if you train. Our protein calculator tells you how much to aim for each day.

Whey or plant protein?

Both provide protein. Whey comes from milk; plant proteins (pea, rice, soy) suit a vegan diet. Everything is explained in our whey guide.

Who is creatine for?

For short, intense efforts: strength training, sprints, team sports. The recognised effect is obtained with 3 g per day. See our creatine guide.

How are the suggested products chosen?

Only products in stock that match your diet and budget, ranked by the last 90 days of sales online and in our shops, with one product per brand so you can compare easily.

Can I talk to someone?

Of course: our advisers welcome you in our shops in Howald and Dudelange and help you choose, with no pressure.

Remember. These suggestions are general and concern healthy adults. Food supplements do not replace a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
