BioTechUSA Iso Whey Platinum is a protein drink powder combining two sources of whey protein, whey isolate and whey concentrate, with micronised creatine monohydrate, L-glutamine, L-arginine and niacin (vitamin B3). It comes in a large 1816 g tub and a resealable 454 g bag, in addition to the 908 g size.
One 22.5 g serving provides 20 g of protein for 92 kcal and only 0.7 g of sugars. Protein contributes to a growth in and the maintenance of muscle mass. Each serving also contains 3 g of creatine: creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high intensity exercise; the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of creatine. Niacin contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
The powder mixes easily in a shaker with 200 ml of water. One serving a day covers the 3 g of creatine: a convenient way to get protein and creatine in a single shake after training. Gluten-free according to the brand, palm oil free.
